    That WAS the Republican brand back in the 1960s. However, when Reagan and the radical right wing Christian racists took over the party it morphed into the party of Trump. Mean. Nasty. Committed to corporate dominance. Authoritarian. Trump has not “changed” the GOP, Trump simply says out loud what they have been saying quietly for the last 40 years. And what their policies have been over the last 40 years. Notice how NO ONE in the GOP criticizes Trump’s policies?

    Criticism is muted, but there is Amash, Weld, Kasich, Flake, even Mitt Romney. There are critics in the GOP, even if the critics are no wiser than the rest.

  3. Country over Party used to be the cornerstone of the American Experiment. Too many have broken their moral compass.
