Candidates address the issues Dec. 2017

Reed opponents meet in bipartisan forum after Salamanca town meeting

bipartisanEach candidate had 3 ½ minutes for an opening statement. Afterward they broke up and the audience was free to seek out candidates to ask them questions.

Candidate Tax Bill Health Care
Eddie Sundquist Scam
Rick Gallant Hurts the middle class
Max Della Pia
Karl Warrington Supports AHC
Ian Golden  Tax cuts misspent
Tracy Mitrano Need universal health care
Charles Whalen Tax cuts won’t pay for themselves
Dr. Linda Andrei Health care is her central issue

Max Della Pia, who didn’t address either taxes or health care, cited his experience.

Tom Reed’s representative also spoke briefly. I didn’t include him in the table because he is not a candidate. He is not mentioned as expressing a position on the Republican tax bill or health care, but Reed’s position on both is well known.

These brief positions were recorded by reporter Rick Miller for the Olean Times Herald. These are the ideas expressed rather than the actual words spoken. More detailed information is available from the candidates.

    I would like to get all of the Democrat candidates and Tom Reed’s thoughts on these two major news stories that the main street media continues to ignore;

    The above contribution was caught by the spam checker, presumably because it cites what is likely fake news. We don’t have time to verify the information in third party articles. Should we allow this sort of thing or not?

    I called Mr Reed’s office today and asked a number of questions about the tax plan. Can be viewed at this site if interested:
