Retired Teacher, political science geek, village trustee. I lean a little left, but like a good political discussion. My blog, the New NY 23rd (http://newny23rd) is about discussing the issues facing the people of our new congressional district. Let's hear all sides of the issues, not just what the candidates want us to hear.

If Trump were elected, it seems optimistic to assume Democrats would control the Senate. Would Republicans in Congress finally have a President who would sign their bills? Would they agree among themselves as to what to enact? Would they, as Gary Johnson proposes, make a balanced budget a priority at whatever cost to the general welfare? I don’t wish to find out.
If Trump were elected, he would be so busy tweeting everyone that oppose him that he would not have the time to be president. Tweeting would be a 24/7 day job.
