“I can’t believe what I’m reading. Today, Donald Trump publicly invited Russia to hack our government’s emails in order to attack Hillary Clinton.

I’ve spent my career defending our country from attacks. I never imagined we would see a presidential candidate openly asking for one.

Was anyone really surprised that Trump would try to steal the spotlight from the Democrats during their Convention?  Some feel that the Russian email event fits into his campaign marketing plan since after Melania’s speech snafu during the GOP convention Trump tweeted: 

“Good news is Melania’s speech got more publicity than any in the history of politics especially if you believe that all press is good press!”

He might now be thinking: “Good news is my Russian email scheme got a lot of publicity  especially if you believe like I do that all press is good press!”
