The article that is mentioned in the U.S. Political Forecast blog (below) suggests that if Hillary defeats Trump with an eight point win (54%-46%) the Republican would be in danger of losing the House. On the other hand It contends that some GOP voters, if they do not want to vote for Trump, they could split their vote. They could vote for the Libertarian candidate for President and then vote for the republican down ballot candidates.
Where does that leave Reed? If they don’t want to support Trump would they support Reed who endorsed Trump? He is the Co-Chair of Trump’s NYS Leadership Team and he takes his orders from Carl Paladino, Trump’s #1 NYS Fan.
Trump’s precipitous drop in the polls isn’t entirely reassuring: (1) he might bounce back, and (2) the GOP might dump him for someone more formidable. I’d like to see a slow and steady decline right up to the election.
