Tom Reed writes his constituents:
As you likely know, my opponent John Plumb worked for the Obama administration and is calling in every favor to help win this election. Plumb’s campaign is being flooded with out of state money being sent by Obama and his allies.

I see no evidence supporting Reed’s claim that Plumb’s campaign is being flooded with out of state money being sent by Obama and his allies. I wonder how many believe it?
Tom Reed reportedly is getting less than one fourth of his funding from within his district. He has no basis for complaint about his opponent John Plumb.

I’m so over him and his ilk, pulling the lamb’s wool over the eyes of his constituency. I hope the residents of the NY23rd open their eyes to his proclivity to plow through his bloviating bullsh*t.
It’s time we get a real hometown man to represent our best interests.

How can it be that Tom Reed, a main-stream Republican stalwart who personifies those whom Trump’s supporters distrust, hopes to attach himself to the Trump bandwagon and still keep the support of Republican moderates?

I lost what little respect I had for Mr. Reed when he endorsed Trump!!!!!

Mary Jane, after talking with Reed once– he never received my respect. He has done nothing worthy of any of our respect. He is too self-serving and he’s acts slimy.

At the convention the mainstream Republicans and the not so mainstream Conservatives all – may have little choice but to support Trump’s presidential nomination. Cruz is dying on the trail, that leaves Trump. Rep Reed may believe he’ll bring the moderates around with him (holding their noses) since he’ll have chosen ” the winner”. Perhaps Tom was offered a cabinet position in Trump’s White House? Nah, even Trump isn’t that stupid.

The GOP’s attachment to Trump is much like that of a foolish person who marries an unsatisfactory mate with the aim of influencing him or her for the better.

If anyone had the time and patience, they could determine who donated to get Tom reed started and continue to enjoy his free pass to the do nothing Congress. The largest donation I found was in 2010 – $49,444 [for] Tom Reed (NY House 23) [by the] Us House Victory Cmte, 2010.
I’m guessing the GOP pegged Tom Reed as a yes man pretty quickly, and jumped to make his candidacy turn into a long running seat.
