  1. John Hunter says:

All these endorsements are very nice, but they won’t mean diddly if Democrats don’t vote.

  2. whungerford says:

Thank you for your comment; John. I agree–for Democrats to vote is crucial.

  3. Ray Copson says:

Tom is touting his NRA endorsement at his campaign website just now. Martha’s endorsements from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare and the Alliance for Retired Americans (not to mention Emily’s List and Planned Parenthood) impress me more.

  4. josephurban says:

I have noticed that both candidates seem to be silent (based on their Issues portion of their websites) on some very important social issues and some touchy political issues. 1. A woman’s right to an abortion. 2. The proposed personhood amendment to the Constitution. 3. The proposed impeachment of President Obama. 4. Is evolution a legitimate theory? 5. Should Congress be making the decisions about the war with ISIS or should Congress do nothing and let Obama decide? 5. The movement to take away voting rights from citizens.
I would love to see both candidates address these issues in a public forum. Or at least on their respective websites.
